Another one Gone - TYPE R
My Precious Type R was stolen yesterday in Temecula.
I am sure it is just a bucket of parts now
It was STOLEN from the driveway yesterday 11/29/03
1998 Integra Type R
AEM Intake, + Nose Mask (BRA)
License # 4DJT881
(dent on passenger front fender under bra)
If anyone (very doubtful) has any information please call 909.302.2486.
These guys were good, alarm was on, and both my kids heard nothing, and one is light sleeper.
I will be buying another one as soon as insurance settles. Looking for the 98 again. If anyone can help me here also (resources) please call me also
The only good news is
1.) It was after Thanksgiving
2.) The 6K I have set aside for mods is still in my bank account.
The next one will also be sitting in the driveway, I dare these punks to even go there again, big surprise for them next time.
Thanks All,
T

Hey Guys,
No doubt about hating the thieves with a passion.
Totall sucks, and we all know it is a parts car now. I am wondering how good lo jack would have been, or maybe better question is how long does it take to strip a teg?
Anyway,
For the sake of doing it:
VIN# JH4DC2318WS004334
AEM Intake
Bra
Great sound system, Sony deck, kicker sub, Alpine Amps, Cerwin Vega speakers, all monster cables, etc..
Thanks for the "thoughts" guys.

I have Lo Jack on my car...thank God I have not had to use it yet. Stripping a Teg is pretty easy, or atleast when I switched my seats, door panels, etc, they came off pretty quick. Sometimes thieves steal the car, hide it, and wait a couple of days to see if there is a Lo Jack or similar system on it before they strip it down so they do not get caught in the act. This is where Lo Jack would help, or if you saw the thieves do it. Let us know how things turn out. Again sorry for your loss.

Dang I miss my car. They did find it, but it was just a shell.
Everything was gone, 5 lug system, engine, tranny, exhaust, well you get the idea.
Now I am driving an Audi S4, so life is good, but miss that R.
