A few weeks back I got my notice to re-register my car ($327!!) but there was no smog notice on it. I've owned the car more than 2 years and the last time it was smogged was a week or so before I bought it in September 2001. Its a 2000 LS in California...what are the laws? My friend said it was 5 years after purchase and then 2 years after that, but i got my car preowned with 28k miles and now it has almost 88k, but he got his car brand new...
