Default Koni Yellow vs KYB AGX

Which shocks do you guys prefer or to use on your integras? I'm thinking about getting either the koni yellows or kyb agx shocks. I currently have skunk2 coilovers and stock shocks with a drop probably around 2.5". Any comments would be appreciated.

from what I've read the Koni's are the better of the 2. But more expensive. I've also heard that the KYB AGX's are 2nd only to the Koni Yellows. Meaning both are about top of the line.

I have neather... I'm poo, so I'm merely going by what I've read and talked to people about.

Koni pros:
- probably the best damping out there in the price range
- great customer service if you ever have a problem with them
- the adjuster is "stepless" which allows you to make infinite adjustments

Koni cons:
- a bit more expensive than AGX
- kind of hard to match the settings on each side with stepless adjusters

AGX pros:
- still good damping
- little cheaper
- adjusters have actual settings so it's easy to set them

AGX cons:
- Tend to not like too much lowering or too high of a spring rate, in which case they blow out
- actual settings on adjusters don't provide as fine of an adjustment range

Anyway with that much of a drop I'd probably go with the Konis to be on the safe side.

The AGXs can't handle the high spring rate of the Skunk2s. Go with Yellows.

They'll hold up perfect. Even more popular is the Eibach Pro-kit/AGX combo.

The AGX will hold up to any typical aftermarket lowering spring that isn't a "race" spring.

I've had both. The AGX are too stiff. I still have the Koni yellows without any complaints. Just get Konis!h:
