You would not need new piston's because you are dealing with an LS, It comes with already low compression piston's. Although it would be better to get some forged piston's, thats only needed if your gonna be running really high amounts of boost, Your LS pistons are probably safe from detenation at the low amounts of boost. Although i am not so sure, you do have alot of miles, you may want to look into some new pistons, it all comes down to your compression test, who knows.

You also may want to look into exhaust, research the best exhaust system/piping to be running under a turbo setup.
