Comptech Spring Questions
Do you need a camber kit with comptech springs?
How do you like how the car handles? Is it more agressive?
Can you guys with comptech springs post pics of your tegs?

You dont need a camber kit with most springs, and I would imagine that your negative camber with Comptech springs will be pretty minimal.

There is no set rule to needing a camber kit.
Youll have to install the suspension, and get an alignment. The alignment printout will have all the information you need. Pay attn to negative camber, and make sure they have eliminated or almost eliminated toe (which is what eats your tires).
Unless you have like -3deg camber, I would ride on the tires for a bit and monitor their wear. If you dont see any uneven wear after a while, dont worry about it. With Comptech springs, you should be fine.
Im on sportlines with like -2.6deg camber, and my Kumhos have ~30k under those conditions. There is some uneven wear, and the inners are just about done, but thats after 30k. I just rotate my tires frequently, and Im a-ok.

What's up Bonzo?
I had Comptech springs with KYB AGX's on the GS-R. It was an awesome setup. It was very stock like with the shocks set at 1 and very stiff set on 4. 2 was probably the best all around setting. Great handling. I recommend it.
I did not notice any camber issues, but the car was stolen a month after the install (basically money down the drain), so I did not get to see the long term effects on my tire wear.
Here is my favorite pic. I have plenty more if you are interested.

Thanks for the info Jay Jay. If you can show me some more pics that would be great. What kind of car did you get now? I hope your doing good. I'm glad to see your still hanging around the Integra forum. It was a shame your GSR wa stolen. It was the cleanest Milano Red GSR I have ever seen :happysad:
