Default what can I excpect when I get my car smogged?

I live in california. I have IHE. Are they gonna fail me immediately on the visual inspection or what?

Intake - AEM V2
Header - DC 4-2-1
Exhaust - Skunk2 megapower

Just wondering what I can expect.

I passed visual when I had my Civic. It had a DC header. The guy was like "I'm gonna have to fail you" but then noticed the CARB sticker so I passed.

I just got my car smoged. I had a AEM cold air at the time and all the guy did was write down the carb# and did the test.

At first the guy said I failed becuase the way my intake was installed, this little rubber tube was not conected to my PCV valve from off of the intake, but he gave me some tools and told me to park in the parking lot and fix it, which I did. 5 min. I showed the guy and he passed me. (He told me that it would not effect my performance so I dint have to worry)

so it depends on how much the person who smogs me knows about the aftermarket scene and whether they feel like being a prick or not i guess.

If your that nervous, take your car to a referee station at the DMV. Have them determine if what you have is illeagal. If all passes they put a sticker on your car letting the smog shop know it has passed DMV's visual.
