Default Got Dynotuned today! Check it out!

Just thought i'd share, cuz i didn't imagine getting this much power. Oh btw the baseline run was kinda screwed up cuz i was detonating (all the reason to get my car tuned). i'm running jrsc w endyn stepper, hondata, rc440s, i/h/e and lil **** like that.

Nice power, how much boost were the pullies giving you? Pretty linear across the torque band.

I see, how was the a/f ratio?

now for some FI friendly cams... hehe
add a ITR exhaust cam and retune...
boosted applications need less overlap
17-20something should be fine...but
like skunkstage1 is 35... not ideal
and more duration/lift on the exhaust
side to scavenge more power.

GSR/GSR
10BTDCin.open/7BTDCex.close
boost builds intake pressure and
it needs to be relieved quickly to
make power.. cam gears can help
this retard intake, retard exhaust
and retune the ECU for peak timing/
air fuel.

GSR/ITR
10BTDCin.open/10BTDCex.close
more lift and duration on the exhaust
side makes intake pressure slide from
the motor more efficiently, therefore
scavenging more power from the motor
moving it under boost more mechanically
efficient, increasing transient response.

I think this is the way to explain it to
sound smart.

tune them and rechip: for example try this:
GSR/ITR cams
retard intake 2-3deg/retard exhaust 2-3deg
8BTDCin.open/12BTDCex.close > 20deg biased
toward exhaust duration=good for boost :naughty:

that midrange power is exeptional, good peak #s
excellent tq all over the place... that car must be
a demon!@

I really would like to see someone build a chart with
cam tests for supercharged apps. I know of JRSC honda
builder here in FLA that uses the ITR ex cam and sees
good numbers, the hondata in your case is doing an
exeptional job kudos on a well tuned setup!!!

I wonder how a skunk2 stage1 exhaust cam and CTR
intake cam would do? or sk2s1 with GSR intake cam...
musing is fun...

That is a nice torque line...doesnt go ape **** too when vtec kicks in. Torque is kinda dropping off at the end tho but thats stock cams for ya. Did you get an a/f chart with your dyno?

i have ITR cams...he did dial out overlap but my car actually lost a lil power (like 1-2hp)...so he put it back. yea it dies off...up in the 8500 range...somethin like that...they do charge 185 per hour, it's expensive but get it done once and right, i was detonating like nuts before, i just want my car running safely.. a/f ratio was around 12s...safe...not the most power i could get but i'm more concerned bout safety . i dont have slips yet hope to hit the track soon...big diff...versus stock vs sc even when i had 6 psi...instant torque...yea i'm happy ...for now
