Default Help: Removing stock rear spoiler on DC2

I was replacing the rusty acorn nuts that attach the stock spoiler to the hatch lid and I broke one of the studs. I'm gonna replace that stud but need to remove the spoiler todo it right. Just wanted to know if the wiring for the spoiler light had a connection or am I going to have to cut the wiring.

BTW it's on a 1998 GS-R and I'm replacing these because when it rains it leaves a rust trial behind.

Thanks,
Marty

naww, you don't need to cut the wiring. There's a connector for it!

pull down the trim on the underside of the hatch, you will find a connector in there for the brake light wires.
