Acura's Extended Warranty
It it possible to purchase the extended warranty from Acura for your car if the original warranty hasn't expired? I got mine new in 01, and I turned down the extended warranty offer, but now I am thinking maybe I should have gotten it. I have 40,000 miles on my GS-R. IF SO, does the warranty carry the coverage that the original warranty has? How much longer does the warranty carry on for, and how much would I expect to pay for it? Thanks.

yes that is when you purchase the extended warranty, before the original one is up. Let me know how much they charge for it and what they include in it. I need to get one as well.

I got an extended warranty on my wife's car when we bought it. It covered everything like a new warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles. Since we got her car at the Acura dealership we bought the warranty through them but it was not through American Honda...it was a third party. The best part about it was when the warranty was up we got the money back if we had not filed a claim. I think we paid $1900ish for it.
