Default what kind of tires...

i am gonna put some 16" black rotas on my car, i wanna know what kind of tires to put on it. if i put low profile tires will the wheels look small on my car? i don't want to put thick chunky lookin tires on my car, but i also dont want them to look tiny. what would be the best fit?

Well, what do you want/need from a tire? Do you need good all weather performance, any snow considerations, or do you want a tire that'll be awesome for only dry conditions?

Also, price range, the exact size of those rotas, and car ride height are some other questions that could be answered

exactly... do you care about the performance of the tire? or only about looks (I hope not)? I'd suggest looking at other 16's with different size tires to get an idea of what each size looks like and decide from there.

These will be my next tires in about 1 month.

Yokohama AVS ES100. 205/50-15. Any feedback on this tire?

I just got a set of the Yokohamas and I must say they grip far better than what I was running on before. But it's not much of a comparison considering I had the stock Michelins previously.

I have no first hand experiance.... but I've heard nothing but positive praise about those tires from tons of people. When I get some decent rims, those are the tires that I'm going to be putting on.

I just got the Yokohama es100 (215-40-17) tires 3 weeks ago. previously, I've used stock michelins (terrible), pirelli P7000 (awesome), and kumho Ecsta 712 (okay). These es100s are the best I've ever used. I never thought I'd find something better than the pirellis, but the yokos are far superior. The ride is smooth, road noise isn't bad at all, and the grip is unbelievable. I can't make these tires slip! I highly recommend these.
