I am looking to get those tires too. I'm basically trying to get the overall diameter of the wheel/tire to be the same as the ones i have now. My car has no drop on it. So would 205/45/16 be about the same... That is what tirerack.com chose for a 16" rim for my car.

Ones that'll fit a [lowered] teggy, and not completely throw off the speedo?

98/GS

Tire size: 195/55/r15 was thinking about getting 205/50/r15 but tire rack was having a special on the 195's ($20 less per tire) so i went with them.

Then don't do " " as if you know what you're talking about. Sorry, but I didn't mean to be an ass, it's just that if you're gonna suggest something, at least be aware of what you're suggesting to the person.

I wouldn't want to be a guy that suggested him a tire, only to find out that it wasn't what he's looking for. Know what I mean?

He stated that he didn't want a tire that was neither "chunky" or "thin". Basically he wanted something that would protect his new rims from daily driving, and would still have good handling characteristics. I'd suggest a 205/45/16. I don't know if you'd want to race in these tires or not, but you could go to tires.com or tirerack.com for a varied selection of tires that you could look at to fit your budget.

Hey Adriatic99ls i got my 205-50-15 avs es 100's about a month ago and I have to say that i have no complaints at all. Before I had khumo 712's and I thought those tires were pretty good, but they dont have jack on the yoka's. I live in florida so they provide me with the best wet and dry traction by far. I was gonna get the kuhmo mx's, but they are on back order.. (sucks). anyways thats my imput on the aves es 100's.
