Default Help, My clutch is really loose

I dont know what the problem is but the clutch on my car is extremely loose, i have to like press 1/3 of the way in and then it opens up. Is there a way i can tighten it or something, cause its really annoying. And could that mess anything up, do you think i need new clutch, cause i only got 92k on car and i dont race much.

Thanks

you're probably due for a new clutch. I changed mine at 70k mile's, I could have gone more but N20 wasn't helping anything.

You can adjust the pedal by disconnecting the clutch master cylinder rod at the pedal and turning the rod, not sure if it's clockwise or counter, test it out only take's a few minute's. You have to remove a cotter pin if I remember correctly so bring a pair of needlenose pliers. Once you disconnect the rod from the pedal turn it clockwise a few time's then reconnect and test. Adjust accordingly.

Does the pedal itself feel sloppy? If it does, you could have cracked your master cylinder. Try bleeding your clutch system.

Am i the only one on this site with 102k miles on my car and the clutch hasnt given out yet? Seems like alotta people abuse their cars...or does the clutch get more wear and tear from mods??
