Default turbo integra advice..PLEASE HELP

Ok so here is the deal....Around the end of June i am going to be gettin an Integra GSR with probably around 100,000 miles on it. Now my plan was to get the gsr and save for turbo right after. But i had some doubts and questions....
First of all i heard that hondas/acuras cant handle much boost and its not always good to turbo one..so thoughts about that and what i would need to do maybe?
Next would it even be safe to turbo one with 100,000 miles on it? Some of my friends who have turbo cars and stuff said as long as you do a compression test first and everything is ok then it would be safe? So thoughts about this...?
If all this is ok then my next question would be what kind of turbo kit to go with? I found a good deal for a Drag gen 3 turbo kit and it has free shipping, free boost gauge, free turbo timer, and a bunch of other free shit as well. But dont know anyone with a drag kit so dont know if they are all that great?

Also feel free to give me opinions/options/idea/warnings/ or anything else about this... Thanks alot to the ones that do help me out here......PLEASE HELP...lol
this is also posted in the integra section..but i put it here also for those that dont look in the integra section..thanks again to everyone that will help me out here

with proper compression testing and fuel management upgrades I have seen b18 acura setups with similar miles running like 6-8 lbs of boost without any problems.I don't have any info on that particular brand though.

with 100k miles on ur engine it may still be in great shape it may not be, decide if u want to replace it or not, possibly have it reworked, with lower compression pistons u can boost a teg safely, the problem lies in the higher compression rates of the tegs already, you can boost a teg safely with the proper setup, but ur looking at disced pistons, nice boost controllers, a good wastegate to let off excess boost pressure, new injectors to keep the gas flow up with ur increased air density. it can be done just depends on how much $$$ u want to throw into it

i agree wit crxb16er. v-tec cars generally have high compression. you might be safe boosting 6-7 lbs. but before you boost any more, you need to lower your compression and upgrade.
your fuel system and pistons are maybe the most important things to research on and upgrade.
you might also want to look at how the last owner came up on those 100,000 miles. aggressive driving, could mean upgrades are more nessesary before you go turbo.

Stock B series blocks can handle low boost(say, under 8lbs of boost) easily, and usually max out around 14-15lbs of boost with good tuning. If you plan on running mid-high boost levels, you should, at the very least, be looking into a good standalone unit and an adequate fuel system. Beyond that, you should also be looking into stouter engine components. Forged bottom end internals should allow you to run 14-15lbs of boost safely on a good tune. If you want to run higher boost levels, or if you want added security, you should be looking into some ductile iron sleeves. Above all, you should decide what your ultimate goals for the setup are, and what you want to spend on it. From there, do some reaearch and decide whether your goals are safely attainable, given your budget.
