Default ITR Muffler: JDM vs. USDM

I'm in the process of geting the JDM 4-1 header. However, I like keeping the car looking and sounding stock.
Now is the JDM ITR muffler the exact same as the USDM ITR muffler?
I was planning to get the JDM ITR bpipe (is this 2.5" thru?) and wondering if it will bolt right up to a USDM ITR muffler?

It should bolt up. And yes the JDM piping is roughly 2.5".

Good stuff... it bolts right up. It's jsut mandrel bent 2 1/4.
I'm running it on my EG slightly modified. a cut and weld here and there.

Had a question related to this... for all motor applications would the ITR/CTR exhaust fullfill all needs? I mean mandral bent 2 1/4 sounds like it would be able to handle the needs of a B16A (what I'm thinking about specifically)... I like the look of the ITR exhaust and its sound is tolerable
