yeah im pretty sure i gave up on thinking of puttina k20 in...i probably wont do anything for almost a year till i know what im doign but if i do it in the next couple months then im not gonna do it...ive been reading the book HONDA ENGINE SWAPS the 2007 edition and i dont know enough about an engine to do it...my friends dad has an engine lift in his garage and all these tools and stuff so he might but im not sure....i was gonna do it until i figured out all the OBD ane ecu stuff. i wont be able to do anything electrical. i hate anything to do with electrical wires and things.

so im gonna take it to a professional..my uncle has his own autobody shop and he knows a lot of hook ups so ill find someone he suggests and maybe get a small discount...

but how much money dou think it would be for the OBD2 conversion and the ECU?

lsd helps put power to both wheels instead of just one. it's worth it for only $300 more.

so i read that a b series engine in an integra wont change anything weight wise but if u put one in a civic it will add a 100 pounds...does that cause understeer? and waht is understeer? i guess you need better suspension for more weight but i want koni yellows with ground controls...would that be okay?

thanks.

suspension should be one of the first things you take care of anyway. a simple coilover setup like the one you mentioned is more than enough for street driving and most track use. add to that an itr 22mm rear sway bar with reinforcement kit and understeer is not an issue.

i was looken at the coilovers and springs on modacar.com

and i found 2 ground controls..one says adjustable coilovers...and the other says adjustable lowering springs they both look the same and say the same thing

heres a link

http://www.modacar.com/products/Honda/Civic/MODAADS/

whats the difference???

and do i really need knew shocks to go with them like the koni yellows i said if im gettin a swap?? or could i just use stock suspension? pros ,cons??

thanks.

those are all the same type coilover sleeve. if you put these on stock shocks expect a bouncy ride and the shocks to not last very long. you can pick up a gc/koni yellow combo for not too much from www.weaksauce.org

well i still havnt decided on which engine to get....a b18c1 was what i was pretty sure i was getting but

this is way cheaper and more hp

http://www.jdmenginescorp.com/index....&products_id=3

i know a b18c1 gsr is easier to install..but whats so much harder about swapping in an h22a??? its 1500 bucks cheaper than the gsr i was going to get on hmotorsonline

it couldnt be 1500 bucks more to swap in could it?

this is a complete changeover and even with the motor mounts its cheaper than the gsr
http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30017

why do people go with the b18c1 instead of the h22?

a b18c1 is an easier swap. no cutting required. straight drop in with the right mounts.
