Default b20/vtec vs ls/vtec.. what is your input?

right now i have a b16 with a gsr tranny.. an i was thinking about fully building my b16, an putting a civic type r tranny in my crx.. then wen that was done, i was thinking about building a ls vtec or a b20 vtec.. but i cant decide which would do me better? i was gonna save all my b16 stock internals, buying the ls or b20 block, an then gettin a gsr or b16 head to slap on it an maybe using my stock b16 internals for temporary if i decided to go b20. an hooking the gsr tranny up to it an puttin the set up in another crx or hatchback, but my question is which would put out more power, a ls vtec or a b20 vtec? will integra type r pistons fit into a b20 or do i need different pistons? which would be easier? which would have more torque? .. basically which is better? .. anyone have a b20 vtec or a ls vtec that would like to share there experience on this swap an how are the outcomes? track times? dyno results?

thank you

Default

b20's have larger displacement thus would make more power and torque compared to a stock bore lsvtec. stock bore (81mm) pistons will not fit in a b20 (84mm) block
