Honda Help with my Vtec Mini.. Simple Upgrades.
I have a B18C1 with the 5 Speed tranny in my mini (no clue what year car it was out of)... I figured i'd ask you guys cause you have more knowledge with this motor than i do... I put a SKunk2 intake manifold on it for clearence reasons.. but thats it.. I was thinking of a AEM Fuel rail.. Doing possably ignition.. Give me some simple bolt ons that i can do at first... and you can tell from the pic that im going to need A LSD.. Mucho WHeel spin!!!!

yeah, upgrading the fuel rail and ignition really only come in handy when you start dealing with higher whp numbers...correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd say at least 300+whp for the fuel rail and definitely 400+whp for the ignition stuff, if not more. I heard of a 600+whp drag 'teg (or civic w/ 'teg engine?) on the stock ignition coil/dist. etc.
as schmoo said, intake header and exhaust are a good place to start. if you still want more, you could get into cams, valve springs, valve spring retainers, valves, pistons, rods, etc.
..or better yet, go FI :crazyr:
btw, let's see some more pics of this beast, especially the engine bay! lol talk about power to weight ratio...

Well the exhaust is custom, i guess i could do a Greddy Header... the Air intake is also aftermarket, theres no airbox in that thing.. The intake manifold is Skunk2..... THe nuts and bolts of it really wasent bad... the wiring, fuel and brakes were horrable
