Can i Swap a Type-R into an LS?

Yes. But it is a waste of money.

because the engine is so expensive? i was thinking of putting a GSR with some p30 pistons in my ls.

I can get an LS for 2,000 and the type r motor for 4800=6,800 thats not that much including when i repaint it I could sell it for almost 10,000. Why is that a waste and yes i can do the engine swap.

this just in:
an ls is not a type-r.

just my opinion. please keep that in mind its just an opinion. id rather have it be called a fast ass LS. unless you start witha type r. plus there are other certain things that are diff. but i dont wanna get into detail. and yes you can put any engine in any car as long as it fits under the hood. and sum modifying

You're dreaming if you think people will pay a premium for a modified car.

Do it for the experience... do it to personalize, but do not expect any sort of return on your investment.

Also, the $5K spent on an ITR motor can be put to much better use on the B18B1 motor you have now.

Ok thanks for the replies I just found a GSR for 5,000 Is that a good buy? it has 130,000 miles on it but in good condition.
