Okay, good:thumbup:

These came out of my 'used' snowmobile. The owner before me didn't like to warm things up before revving the sh!t out of it and it destroyed these pistons. I know you probably can't see the pics very clearly, but there is obvious scuffing on the sides from the pistons expanding faster than the cylinders. Two of the pistons expanded so fast and scuffed so hard that they broke the pins that locate the (gapped) piston rings. One of them is stuck in the top of the middle piston.

Again, sorry for the low res. pics., I wish you could see these better.

I see it clearly, but even after the car stopped doing it, I still let it idle like 2-3 minutes out in the parking lot before I take off, just to give me a little assurance that it's going to run good.

You can "gut" the cat basically by taking it off and banging it on the ground until the assorted stuff inside falls out. Voila, now you have a straight pipe. Of course, this is not emissions legal but it'll probably get the car running smoothly again. I would recommend you get high flow cat. A Carsound high flow cat can be had for probably 100 bucks or less and then you just need a muffler shop to weld on the proper flanges to bolt it in place of your stock one. Otherwise, Landspeed Racing sells direct-fit high flow cats for $230.
