Default supercharger-centrifugal or eaten?

i checked the forums and this is the spot for forced induction so i hope it doesn't get canned. I was wondering what type of supercharger is best-eaten or centrifugal. the vortechs make more peak power and the jackson racing makes more low end power. which would be the best one for a maximum performance street car?

What is your definition of maximum street performance?

If it is daily driving, the low end power of the blower type supercharger is better. If it is racing, you don't see much low end, so the centrifugal supercharger is best. IMO, they both suck. A properly sized turbo will give a very broad powerband that will give you power down low and power up high.

what i mean by street performance is not getting my tires blown off. don't want so much power i need slicks. don't even know if that kind of power can be achieved from a blower. turbo is probably better though.

To get the best times, you will need slicks anyway. Any forced induction will cause traction problems in lower gears.
