Default z6 block...if i can use a y7 head, what ecu? can i use a p06

im picking up a d16z6 block. i want to keep it non vtec. i was under the impression that if i used the d15b7 head thats currently in my car, i wouldnt be able to use arp head studs, cause they only make them for d16's. is this true? or is that only refering to the block? also the b7 head isnt the best so i was wondering if i ran a d16y7 head, could i run the p06 ecu, since there is no vtec. this would just be stock, aside from forged internals, boosting to make 250whp, if that makes a difference. thanks for your help.

That sounds like a plan. All that should work for you.
