Default Let's talk Mod Chips...

Who here has experience installing aftermarket mod chips? Do they really offer the 20+ HP gains that they claim to offer?

What about something like this - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...spagenameZWDVW

no. everybody will tell you they dont work. so dont bother.

the only worthwhile "chips" are fully programmable ems' that will only be worth the effort once you go beyond basic i/h/e.

1) ebay sellers always overrate hp gains
2) there have been many many many many threads about this; no need to talk anymore
3) you can search for them
4) bottom line - they are just resistors which cost less than a buck, which make you have more fuel consumption and don't produce ginormous gains.

Default Performance modules

You can buy cheap modules like RUSH, which is what I use. The improvement is impressive. I don't know why some chips are so expensive, other than paying for a brand name or an adjustable chip. Installation is super easy 2 wire hook up to the ECU.

You cannot tune a module like RUSH to any Mods that you have or will do in the future. there's a reason why people spend the money on hondata, crome, Aem, etc. etc.
