Default valve adjustment question

I am doing a valve adjustment on a b18b1 and I only have angled feeler gauges that start at .005 in. How can I insure that i adjust them to spec (.003-.005). Should I adjust it so the feeler just barely does not fit in?
Thanks

It makes sense if you have no choice...

But why don't you just buy feelers that go thinner? They're not that expensive & it's better. The angled kind isn't absolutely important, that just makes it easier. It's more important to get the right thickness.

take off the valve cover
turn crank to get cyl 1 on tdc
adjust intake and exhaust valve clearance for the cyl to spec
rotate crank 90 degrees and repeat adjustment on cyl 3
rotate 90 degrees and adjust cyl 4
scratch your ass cuz it seems so easy to do it by now
rotate and adj cyl 2
slap on a new valve cover gasket
put valve cover back, wires, ground wire, etc.
wash your hands
go out and race
