what did the aebs people say about o-ringing?

I hope something along the lines of "I'm sorry, we forgot that."

O-ringing isn't cheap or easy... hopefully they'll grant a full refund so Josh-o can go along his way and get the local shop to do it.

If I'm ever in 'bama, you better let me have a test drive when you're done... or else.

They said 'how do you know it hasn't been o-ring'd?'
I said 'cause there's no o-ring... not really something you can miss. :eh:'
They said 'well, the machine shop must have overlooked that. We'll refund your money.'

So, I'll just have the local shop do it. They build 24-hour race engines so I think they can handle it. h:

i've heard good and bad things about o-ringing. i was wondering what aebs thought of the process over a normal head gasket.

You use your head gasket with the o-rings. They just get pressed into the head gasket creating a better seal for each cylinder. I can't see that it would be a bad thing. :dunno:
