Default b16 to a b18 Q

I currently have a JDM B16a1. I was wondering if i swaped out my b16 block and put a b18c or b18b block in and slapped my b16 head on will it work? Or will i have to change cpu, tranny, mounts etc. Please help.

Will work. Without a different ECU or at least some fuel tuning you may not run at peak power though.

Nothing will really be ideal. A Type R ecu would be the best choice, as you won't have the butterflies of a b18c, but if possible I would suggest a VAFC or Hondata using your currect ECU.

Should be around the same price, and will provide much better results assuming decent tuning.

Yep. Would work exactly the same as swapping in a b18b. I would heavily suggest some programmable fuel control if you went with a 2.0 block, but you'd get bags of power.

B20 is a little taller than a b16, but not any larger in girth.
