Default DIY: Black Chrome Emblems

Just got done doing this to my coupe, and i think it looks real nice. I went to a hobby store and picked up some transparent Black Spray paint for like 4.50, took the rear emblem off my car and cleaned it up with alcohol. then hung it up, painted it, and when it was dry an hour later stuck it back on the car. Here's some pics

Before

After

and on the car

up close the paint has some blotches in it, i think thats just how it is cause on other things it's been used with its been the same way, but it isnt noticbale unless you get right up on the emblem and hit it with the right light. This would pretty look damn good on a black car. Also the more you spray them the darker they get

Get some fishing line, stick it behind the emblem and then you want to saw the sticking using the fishing line, then it'll pop right off.

Paint didn't stick too well for me. After I pushed the emblem back on, it peeled off onto my finger. I then removed the paint and then just left them normal looking. Maybe I'll try some other time. I used clearcoat. Maybe the clear just pulled the paint with it. Doubt it though.

Well, I re-did them today with no clearcoat. That worked much better. Used some super glue on the bottom so they'd stick since my car's old and the stock adhesive was pretty much done. Little glue got on the rear and took off some paint, but nothing noticable. Here's some pics:
