i was going to use silicon from first place, but my friend insisted on me using a epoxy any ways, i assume you know who i am from SHO by now westcoaststyle. any luck on selling the car? dOh! i suck at reading. i'll check on your car sale status on sho :) |

Would this work on an 89 civic? Or is it not the right stuff in the light?

To Answer..89 Civic's have glass lenses from what I understand.
and they do have only 1 piece, meaning your reflective and part you'd be blacking out in same plastic. so for you to do it, and goes for the 92~95 civic owner's as well. tape off the reflective part, and then paint the outter layer. This applies to several different cars too actually. DA9, 4th gen Maxima's, and such etc.. good luck. |

I did this the first day of summer break, about 4 months ago now. It still looks really good. About the paint question - i actually used high heat engine paint that I got at Meijer for like $3. High heat becuase the bulbs get hot.
