Don't use Epoxi, use silicon, it's much cheaper and the proper way to do it.

Time doesn't charge you if you use it too much

Would this work on an 89 civic? Or is it not the right stuff in the light?

hoyoung02 09-08-2005 05:41 PM

To Answer..89 Civic's have glass lenses from what I understand.
and they do have only 1 piece, meaning your reflective and part you'd be blacking out in same plastic.
so for you to do it, and goes for the 92~95 civic owner's as well.
tape off the reflective part, and then paint the outter layer.
This applies to several different cars too actually. DA9, 4th gen Maxima's, and such etc..
good luck.

try walmart, ACE, HomeDepot, Autozone, Napa
or order online since you seem like a lazy one not to go to more then 2 stores..

I did this the first day of summer break, about 4 months ago now. It still looks really good. About the paint question - i actually used high heat engine paint that I got at Meijer for like $3. High heat becuase the bulbs get hot.
