They should be real... I think HMotors gets real OEM parts... but if you are unsure, inlinefour.com is definetly legit and carries some here, but at a $500 price tag ... http://www.inlinefour.com/jdmcivhead.html

I went to local hobby shop and told the clerk that I was attempting to do this, i told him i wanted a transparent black spary paint, and he suggested to me that I try spray paint called "smoke" so I bought it, he said it would be a trasparent look, im kind of scared to use it. Has anyone tried this before? If not i guess ill be the first...

genuine CTR headlight housing look like dark chrome, abit dark brown chrome.
In Singapore, a pair of used CTR headlight only sell for SGD$120 to $200 only.
