I went to local hobby shop and told the clerk that I was attempting to do this, i told him i wanted a transparent black spary paint, and he suggested to me that I try spray paint called "smoke" so I bought it, he said it would be a trasparent look, im kind of scared to use it. Has anyone tried this before? If not i guess ill be the first...

genuine CTR headlight housing look like dark chrome, abit dark brown chrome.
In Singapore, a pair of used CTR headlight only sell for SGD$120 to $200 only.

hey, did anyone get rid of the amber on the bottom of the head lamp while doing this?

anyone? 96-98 headlights have that amber strip where the turn signal is..... anyone take that off?
