Nice! Im thinking about doing this, one question though... By doing this, how does it affect the light reflecting? will this make it harder to see at night?

I've never had any problems. You can see mine in my sig.

The light mostly reflects off of the chrome part that you do not paint as you can see in the pic. I do have minor problems with my corner lights reflecting very good because I painted that entire part.

You are going to have some degradation, but it is definitely worth the effect that the lights give. I will post some newer pics with the outside lenses cleaned so you can actually see them, much better than when we originally did the DIY
