what's better to work with? safer?

I think both are pretty safe you just got to make sure you put the jack stands where they go.

They are both safe unless you have some cheap ones. Don't risk your life to save a few bucks.

what if my drive way is slightly inclined?? Not enough to be noticed, but enough that the car moves in neutral..

It doesn't matter if it's only a few degrees off horizontal. In more extreme cases, use jackstands. If you have a ski slope driveway, find a better place to work.

if you have a ski slope driveway, use the ramps.
At least if the car is uneven the ramps are better. in my opinon.

Ramps are good unless you plan on taking off the wheels...like working on the suspension. In that case, jack stands are better.

my bro uses the jack stand he sticks a big block wood if he ever does under the car for added safety..

ramps are safer but kinda get in the way sometimes.

If you place the jackstands correctly, I don't see how ramps are better at all. Also, if you car is lowered any signifigant amount, ramps won't work. Your front bumper will hit the ramp way before your wheel does & it'll just push it accross the floor....
