Get rid of beeping
#2
is there a switch on the door? that could be it. or you could follow the wire under the hood and basicly disconect it, get some electrical tape and seal her up. if you had a manual im sure it'd help you out a bit. especially in the diy section.

If its a factory installed beeping sound, remove the door panel and you should be able to see three wires (depending on models) running from the door lock. There should be a black wire that will ground the electrical signal coming from the other wires triggering the warning whenever the door is opened. Cut one wire other than the black one and it should solve the "problem". Before you reinstall the door panel, open and close the door a few times to check if any other stuff in the car is affacted ***Note the "door open" indicator on the cluster...just to be safe.

when i had a jetta, that car's sound was driving me insane. so i found a relay in the relay box, and took it out. the beeping was gone. not sure about hondas, check if u have one too, or maybe call up the dealer real quick. it's worth finding out, cause u dont have to cut any wires, and can put that relay back in no time (that is if u ever want to)

either you have the headlights on or you have the key in the ignition. When you open the door it beeps to let you know something isn't right to leave the car.
or is this anytime you open the door? even with the car running? then there is something wrong.

Yeah well I sit alot with the door open when im just resting, need a place to sit, or am working on the interior and with it being open constantly... that means there is a constant beep for 20 min straight.
