Default Rear Brake Calipers

Can anyone instruct me on how to correctly replace my Rear Brake Calipers on my 1997 2.2 CL?

Do I have to remove the complete Brake Cable from the Front of the Car inorder to get the Caliper off?

Can anyone tell me the correct way to remove the Brake Cable from the rear Caliper?

Your help would be much appreciated.

I don't believe you need to disconnect the cable. There should be 2 bolts (14mm) and loosen the bolt and the caliper should swing up.

I have removed the two (2) bolts, but the Emergency Brake Cable runs through the Arm of the Brake Caliper. The Brake Cable will not slide through the hole. There is some kind of a locking Bolt around the cable. I have tried to remove, but have been unsuccessful.

There is a pin that is holding the cable to the arm if I'm not wrong, and there is a locking pin attached to it at the bottom of it. Use a plier to pull it out you should be able to disconnect the parking brake cable. Remember to release the parking brake but put the car in gear first before doing that. You should be able to slide the caliper out after taking off the bolts (2 x 14mm) on the mounting.
