Help installing EG9 Spoiler
Anyone have any info on installing this spoiler.
I notice my usdm trunklid has 2 markings which looks like to me where i should drill for the bolts. heres the pix.
is that correct? and for the center bolt do i have to drill 2 holes, one for the bolt and the other for the wires?
And any other tips i should know about?

hard to tell by ur pics...but i would say don't drill based on the trunk...drill based on the wing...look at where u think u want the wing to be placed...and then place the holes based on the wing cuz it should already have the bolts driven through em and sticking out...as for wiring sry can't help there
*edit* get other confirmation...it's late and i'm not thinking very well...but i tried

Yes, you are correct. You will want to drill through those dimples on each side of the trunk. You have 2 options for the center "bolt". 1.) You can either drill the holes for that and the wiring or 2.) you can remove the plastic piece and just run the wiring between the wing and the trunklid and go through a hole on the side.
I am making an assumption on that plastic center stud being removeable but I have a the same setup on the EG9 spoiler I have. I just haven't installed it yet. If I get around to it before you do, I will let you know.
I was around for asiandoood's wing install and if I remember correctly, he actually had a metal, threaded bolt in the center. In his case, he simply cut it off. He hasn't had any rattling or loosening problems that I know of so you probably won't if you remove the plastic stud either.
[edit] I didn't realize this post is pretty old. You probably have it installed by now.
