Default honda civic lx to ex exhaust swap

hi, i have a 98 honda civic lx(the one with the cat in front of the engine), and the header is cracked. it will cost 530 to buy a new one. i decided to buy aftermarket parts and replace the hole exhaust system. can anyone help me on what i need. i am planing on buying a header off ebay wich will get me back past the engine and i found a cat on nopi.com, total cost there about 200 bucks. what shoudl i do for the cat back system and what other hardware do i need to pull it off. what do i do with my 2nd o2 sensor.

How many miles are on the car? If it has less then 70K on it, it's covered under warranty. If not, you will need the header, cat, O2 sensor extensions and the B pipe for an EX. The second O2 sensor will have to go after the cat somewhere. Check to see if the Nopi cat has a bung welded in it for that purpose. The muffler should be no problem. It should bolt right up.

the car has 100k miles, the header im looking at has a bung in the right cylnder pipe and at the end befor the cat would that be a problem, if it is, would it be hard to weld a bung in the cat. i have never done anything like that but i know the thery to it, and i have some experance welding, (not bad for 16 eah). thanks

The way OBD II works is by taking a reading before the cat and after the cat. You will need to put the O2 sensors like that.

I'm not sure what you mean by "it has a bung in the right cylinder pipe"? Is that for an EGT sensor possibly? Either way, you will need an O2 before the cat, and one after the cat. It may be best to take the cat to a muffler shop and have them weld it, that way you don't screw up a $200 cat converter.
