Default AAARGH! Need suspension help!

I have a problem with my damper fork on my strut setup. I have a 2000 Honda Accord coupe EX , 4 cylinder, 5-speed that I am trying to get the front struts changed out (old ones are shot). The passenger side I got out ok the drivers side is another problem. The top bolt on the damper fork broke off of course due to the lovely climate I live in corroding it so I was trying to take apart the bottom bolt on the damper fork by pounding on it and turning on it with a breaker bar but no avail, the bushing keeps turning with the bolt. Also tried pushing it out the other end with a c-clamp and socket. Any ideas?

Not sure if I am reading this right but are you talking about the point where the strut goes into the lower strut mount?

If so then take a Dreme and a cutting wheel and cut the bolt in half then get a tap and take the threaded side out.

This may work but in theworst case scenario you have to buy a new lower mount which is fairly inexpensive from a parts yard.
