1500 is too much for a crx si? What would be a good deal on one? (seeing as I want to sell my civic and get one)

For an 85-87, yes. They are different then the 88-91's. A fair price for an 88-91 would be around $1500 if it is in decent condition.

$1500 is THE price to pay. I paid $2200 for my HF and I regret paying so much ! But under the cirumstances i had to because of limited time to get the car. It's just not worth $2000 regardless.

$1500-2000 tops, don't be tempted by that incredibly clean engine bay ;o)
