dangerous as hell!

seat belts go through white metal into the FRAME of your car. you'd be nuts or stupid to try that.

lets see examples of the RIGHT thing to do.

for my car (not the one I have). It's designed to use the existing upper seat belt mount for the front and the rear ties down into an existing hard point (read not panel) in the hatch area.

I'll post pics of mine when I get home. The main bar is about 2.5inch in diameter and the ends get mounted to the upper seatbelt bolts. the lower part goes down and gets mounted to the rear outboard side of the seats using a special bracket.

very tight and safe.

you can't see the lower bars that keep the main bar from shifting in that pic

it's that's the rear bar then that's not safe either.

why doesn't he just get the schroth ralley 3 or 4 which clips into the rear seat belt receiver.
