Default now that i'm starting over

my rex got recked... damn.... but looking past the tragedy... it's time to start over and build the rex that i want. my plans are to get a hold of a crx... cheapest i have to spend because i've got a salvage crx. basically i want the shell. i also want a 200 hp or more, bone stock motor. i was thinking b18 but not 100% on that and would appreciate any POSITIVE input on where i should go with a motor. so far i haven't been able to find a shell or the crx that i need for a low price... i'm thinking under 1000... but worth my money. any links, input, suggestions, or simple comments are encouraged! thanx in advance.

www.autotrader.com

i'v seen a couple shells on there on occassion. price will prolly depend on shape of the car. You might be able to find a complete car for cheap. I saw a while ago a CRX for sale with 2 engines for 950.. (that is now gone) just to show you there are deals out there.

And i feel your pain man.. you are in the same boat as i am in now. rebuilding rexes. good luck on the rebuild and if you have anyquestions or anything, PM or IM me.. i will be glad to help a fellow CRX rebuilder!

Good luck with that. There are only a few ways to get that much power with a stock engine swap:

B18C (200hp JDM Type R): relitivly easy but really expensive.

The other choices for 200 or more flywheel horsepower stock:
F20B (200hp Accord SiR-T)
H22A (200hp JDM Prelude and 220hp Prelude Type S)
F20C (240hp S2000)
K20A (220hp RSX Type R)
K20A2 (200hp RSX Type S)
...are extremely difficult and expensive almost 100% custom swaps. Have fun.
