ah! **** this...help with my car...asap
ok first there is a crease line in the back f my front passenger side brake rotor, as if something was under my pad and it was dragging...
i heard my pad keep rubbing the rotor so i decided to take off the pads and inspect...well i saw nothing...now i can still hear the noise just not as bad? wtf...
ok and second my hood is vibrating really bad, to the point where at one time i thougt i was gonna chuck a rod cuz it was like knocking....
so i tightened the bolts that hold it on and no luck...and also made sure things like my battery and strut bar where not loose...
all help and sugestions are needed! thanks!!!

the pads touch the rotor on one side at all times, though it is very very light contact. this is the nature of single piston, floating caliper disk brakes. loud scraping could be a frozen caliper, or possibly a bearing problem. that gouge could be caused by an imperfection in the pads, or maybe the pads were completely worn away at some point, but were not replaced for some time (previous owner maybe)
as for the hood...check to see if the little rubber mounts on the upper beam (behind the headlights) are still there. if not, the hood will bounce around from the play in the hood latch.
