Default Ok... This may sound dumb...

But I got a cold air intake, and I don't know which end to put the bypass valve cover on... The end where the air is sucked in at the filter, or the end where it goes into the engine???

It goes in the middle, where the 2 pieces of the intake connect.

there is no middle. It's a long aluminum pipe and each end connects to something.

Then you plug it..... I know the stock piece you are talking about..... you keep the coolant lines that run to the throttle body, and just plug the vaccum line coming out of the valve cover.

Ok... This makes no sense... In the below picture, the air bypass valve cover is located where u said to put it originally, in the middle. I got that same exact intake but the tube is one solid piece and I don't see how that is supposed to connect. Do I need to cut the pipe? Oh shit... I do need to cut it. On that website it said "Cutting a portion of the intake is necessary to install the AEM Air Bypass Valve." Attention to detail dammit!

Yeah, you'll have to cut it to put it on. Just make sure you clean it out really well afterwards. I'm not to sure how kindly your engine will take to little metal shreds.

yah 91 si hulk was talking about the hose coming off the valve cover that bypasses the air in the valve cover back thru the intake manifold by way of that little hose

yeah about that. When I took off the stock little hose, some green fluid spurted out. I thought it was antifreeze but I wasn't sure. What was that stuff? What a noob I am... :wtc:

NO wrong hose, there should be 2 hoses, one is the block-manifold coolant hose and the other is a valve cover to intake tube hose, MAKE SURE U DONT hook up the one from the block to intake, only the hose coming off the valve cover should be routed to the intake, otherwise ur gonna hydrolock ur engine with coolant and make a huge expensive mess outta ur engine.
