zc question
what is the redline supposed to be for the zc, i thought that i got the original zc ecu but when i checked the codes it was a pg7 which is an 89 integra ecu with a 7500 redline, and i believed the zc is a 7200 redline but not sure??? let me know

thats what i figured, i believed that the ecu ive got has just a little too high of a red line, which shouldnt be a problem because i rarely hit the fuel cutoff, i hate the sound it makes

88-89 Integras redline at 7k RPM with a 7.5k fuel cut.
Black cover ZCs redline at 7.2k RPM, I would *assume* a 7.8k fuel cut.
Don't rev these engines over redline or you may blow them. The *ONLY* time I have ever hit fuel cut was in a new Ford truck with no tachometer and that was accidental.

thanks alot guys, i was thinking about what whiterice pointed out, floating valves, and the valve train not holding up, engine condition is just how u build it. hopefully i'll have it on the road today
