Default Skunk2 short shifter question?

I bought a skunk2 short shifter over the weekend and installed it sunday. I'm extremely happy with how short the throws are, but it seems like its a bit harder than normal to shift gears. Is that normal, and will it gradually get easier as it settles in?... or did I put it on a bit too tight? Any help will be much appreciated.

Yeah, I figured that might be the reason, because the bushings are in good condition. Thanx 4 the help.
