Default ZC or B16A1??????

Yo people i asked a question about TC and SC and all that stuff b4 but i cant get that shit, i only 15 and parents dont want it to be fast. But all i can do is an engine swap and then when im 16 ill get a job and get some NOS. But im wondering if u would put a ZC or B16A1 in a 91 honda civic hatch DX???? and would u get ZEX NOS? cause ive heard it is the safest. and what all can i get with the ZC or B16A to add major HP???? sorry 1 more question...................does a VTEC controller help at all? some1 told me they dont help at all and another person said they really do help.............laterz

"Nitrous Oxide," not NOS. NOS (promounced En Oh Ess) is a brand name, Nitrous Oxide Systems. When you say "ZEX NOS" you are saying to brand names, and that makes no sense.

Personally, I would go between a ZC or a B18A. Then I would choose the B18A. Keep in mind, swaping in a B-series will cost a lot more then a ZC.

Exactly what KAI said, NOS is a brand name, not a name for Nitrous.

That is my How-To for a ZC swap, read it and that might help you decide what you want to do.

thx that site is very helpful, but u think with a ZC engine i could push 200whp doing alot alot alot of engine work??? cause the engine is cheap and i have more money but i cant do TURBO or SUPERCHARGER just Nitrous later when i get me a job. so u think i could push 200whp?

Well with the money you spent putting in a ZC and making it 200hp your might as well just buy a B18CR engine (195 stock) and work with that.

Your not going to get a ZC to 200WHP with a $3200 budget unless you Turbo it. And they don't make a Supercharger that fits the ZC anyway. To run enough nitrous to give you 200WHP you will need to throw in some forged rods and pistons and built it up or else your just going to blow up the engine. You might be able to do it, but there aren't that many aftermarket parts for the ZC, so even if you had the money there wouldn't be anything to buy.

Wrong. Jackson Racing makes one for the ZC. Jackson's Part number on it is 989-110. www.jacksonracing.com

I heard they were making one but I never heard it was out yet. Jackson Racing sucks anyway, I wouldn't buy any Supercharger unless it was Vortech.
