what are the bet quality/lightest CF hoods for the CRX?
I've been looking around for a CF hood that's very lightweight (prefferably around 10 lbs), and is made very well (i.e-fits perfectly, the CF doesn't turn brownish under prolonged exposure to heat/sunlight). I know such a product is available for the Audi A4, b/c I'm more familiar with the Audi/VW tuning scene. Such hoods are usually not cheap. They run around as much $1,200, but the quality is immaculate, and the hood is highly functional in that they do weigh around 7-12 lbs apeice.
In contrast, I'd be a little skepticle of the quality/functioanlity that the $350 CF hoods I've seen advertised on particular Honda aftermaket sites. I very much doubt that it would be a high qaulity piece and/or it probably weighs quite a lot. I also know some companies, such as 'Import Fan', don't make very good CF hoods. I know, because I have a CF hood from them for my VW Passat.
Can you guys suggest a good source for high quality CF hoods? Also, if I do plan to do a CRX JDM front end conversion, do I need to take other considerations?
Thanks!

ViS Racing and Fiber Images make the best CF Hoods. They aren't that expensive, probably $600 max. Things for VWs and Audis are very very overpriced. Welcome to the affordable world of Honda.
I have a ViS CF Hood and it still looks like the day I got it, it has held up great.

Thanks! I'll be sure to get more info from the respective sites mentioned. I couldn't get connected to the fiberimages site though. I hope they're not out of business!
