question about the radiator support (88-91 crx)
my friend got in an accident and his radiator support is all bent up.
i was wondering if the radiator support is welded on or if its bolted on because he was going to try to replace it with a new one.
is it possible to do it himself?

I am pretty sure the CRX radiator support is welded on. My old Integra, a second gen which was based on the fourth gen Civic platform like the second gen CRX, had a welded radiator support. You can tell by looking at it where it meets the body, or even better if you drop the bumper.
If he can weld, yes, he can do it himself. I have seen them cut out and a replacement bolted in instead of welded, but I would not advise it.
