hf dx and si were the only models available in the US, there is a jdm sir model that comes with the b16 that was available in japan, europe, and canada i believe, those were the only models available for the 2nd gen 88-91 crx

well the reason i ask is cause i saw someone with a rex the other day and i told him i wanted to buy it and then i asked "What model is it?...HF?"...he said..."it's just the standard model"...i guess i'll just have to go check it out...i know it's not an SI, but how do i tell the difference between the DX and the HF...what are the engine codes on each?..thanks

the hf will have 4 fuel injectors coming off the fuel rail instead of 2 like the dx, dx was also the only automatic tranny

the hf has mpfi as apposed to dpfi, and i would suggest getting the hf if u are planning on swapping in a new engine, with the dx u have to change out to mpfi in order to swap in any other engines.

yeah i know..that's why i'm tryin to find an hf or si...preferrably the hf because of the weight advantages...anybody wanna trade their HF or SI crx for a 91 auto. DX hatch?(it was given to me...and i hate driving an automatic...maybe i'll just convert to manual:naughty: )

...later
