If you actually sat in your car's driver seat and turned around, you would quickly realize there is very little room for an engine. I have heard of midship NSX/CRX hybrids, but even the NSX engine and drivetrain is much smaller then the 350ci engine and drivetrain. If you really want to do it, it can be done, but if you want to stick the engine in the back... good luck, you'll need it.
Oh, BTW, you can't mount an engine at that angle. For one, the oil won't flow and distribute properly.

heres the crnsx, if u were going to attempt to put a 350 in a crx i think ur best bet would be to put the engine in the front of the car, cut back the firewall cut into the underbody of the car, mount ur rear differential there, and rebuild and reinforce the underbody when ur all thru hacking away, that way u can mount ur tranny, differential and rear transaxle. lots of work and effort and i wouldnt do it unless uve got a whole lot of time, a good welder, and alot of scrap metal. this would be something id attempt if i had my own mill and lathe otherwise i wouldnt attempt it.

Yeah that crnsx was done by mahdavi motorsports here in GA. Its kinda kool I guess. Those guys are idiots though. Word of caution for those of you that live in GA, don't bring your car to them, they suck and will rip you off!

Yes they will, and I know that for a fact! I have an example sitting in my shop now. Long story, but the Reader's Digest version is that they kept this car for a month, charged him a diagnostic fee, said they couldn't fix it, and it took me 5 minutes once I got it to my shop to see what was wrong.
