Default Motor mount question

Original thread here

Ok, I went to HAsports.com and was reading the install directions and I was wondering if anyone could answer a question for me.

It shows this pic:

and it says:

Remove the battery tray if you already have not, and bolt the right-hand bracket to the frame rail using the four bolts provided. For the bolt under the frame rail, reuse one of the original mount bolts. You can actually reinstall the battery bracket by cutting of one of the mounting tabs on the bottom where it interferes with the bracket.
it then goes on to talk about the other mounts saying "use the NEW mount..."

So I take it that the mount in the pic above is suposed to be the original mount taken from he old motor.

The thing is. My old mount looks nothing like the one in the pic above.

Sorry the pic is so big.

possibly u got the wrong mounting kit? i think this is a question for 1stgencrxer, u sure u got the kit for ur 1st gen? i know those mounting instructions came from the hasport site with the right parts but maybe their instructions are for a different car, can u post a pic of what ur mounting bracket looks like, the instructions they were giving were how to get ur battery bracket out of the way, and how to put it back in after uve got the mount back in there, did ur kit come with a new mounting bracket to attach the new motor mount to the frame?

I haven't bought the kit yet. I got that link form the thread in the basement.

The last pic is MY old motor mount from the pass side that mounted to the trany. I dont have the B16 yet so I dont know anything about it and I dont have the mount kit yet. Just doing research for now so I dont get the wrong stuff.

Here are the compleat instrucetions from HAsport You can see there what I am talking about.

Read closer, it says "reuse one of the original mount bolts." Not the original mount itself. That mount in the picture is definitely not OEM.

i think the mounting kit ur looking into has new brackets as well as new mounts, the brackets attach to the frame of ur rex, and its just talking about reusing one of ur old motor mount bolts to attach something.
