Default My buddy crashed his hatch and we need some help.(diagnosis)

Welp, me and my buddy were driving home from school in his 90 Hatchback, to make a long story short, he hit some black ice and slid into a gaurdrail. It was right along his passenger side, and knocked his rim pretty bad, ripped the aluminum apart.

The car was very hard to steer, like something was caught. Its like if i steer one way it wants to go another, but lags really badly. The power steering still works.

So I jacked up the car and noticed the cv axel boot was all torn apart and the grease was leaking out. So I replaced that and flushed the tranny fluid. I didnt see anything else wrong below, prob. cause I really wasnt looking for anything else wrong. I thought the axel was causing the problem.
I'm not sure whats wrong, can you guys give me some suggestions? Since hes a good friend, I dont charge him for labor... though i should
TIA
Later/joe

Check for bent control arms, tie rod and all suspension parts on that side of the car. Check the wheel bearings too. Glad you guys are ok........
