Default spark plug question!!!!!!!

I was gonna put in some new spark plugs and i noticed that there was oil where the spark plugs go. What could this problem be??? My friend told me it could be a busted valve cover gasket. Is this very expensive to fix???? need help!!!!

Not very expensive, you just need to replace the seals on the spark plug tubes and the valve cover gasket while you're at it.

yah just pick up some rtv silicon and remove ur valve cover, you will have a gasket that u can reuse and when u do clean it all up and then put dabs of silicon over the 4 individual spark plug holes and redo ur valve cover gasket with more silicon when u put it back on. Peice of cake let me know if ur still wary doing it but once u open it up its self explanitory while uve got the valve cover open clean it up and remove any crud and sticky deposits in there itll make ur car run a little better if uve got lots of crud
